There are many reasons that responsible individuals would want to pay their PayPal credit balance with a credit card. This didnt work. They would not accept a credit card even if you tell them you are closing an account.
Just close PP credit; not the entire account. Also, it’s representative specific, so you could try to call back and talk to a different rep. I didn’t want PP credit so it was a double bonus to close it.
Your statement that you don’t like PayPal credit made me wonder. Why?
I prefer to have it authenticate the purchase to a different credit card. Nothing against the service, but it’s annoying it defaults to it with a hard out.
